Get to know Thor

First topic message reminder :

If anyone wants to get to know me better (what a waste of time) then I'm willing to answer any and all questions that don't end with me losing my identity/being tied up or attacked by creepy people.

I'll just start with a few things to get the ball rolling, to do so I'm employing this random body-less voice.

Voice: "Why choose the name Thor?"

Good question. The reason I go by Thor is not because I like the Marvel comic book or the God, but because my father did and he named me so. It's such an uncommon name that I just use it when I sign up for stuff and people will just think it's a fan of the comic.

Voice: "You came up with me just so you could explain that, are you insane?"

Another good question. Yes and no. Yes I'm insane, but I'm not because I choose to be sane...

So without any more interruptions, if anyone finds an interest in myself then ask me a question.

@Arkwayz3: Odin? He's a smart leader, but a bit arrogant. He thinks he's all powerful, but I can take him.

@theTalkingRice: Both. I'm immature enough to like stupid humor, and smart enough to enjoy sophisticated humor. But I think I like brilliant things better than stupid little things.

Yup, I love it when I write a story that people want to read....probably mostly because it boosts my ego XD

But yeah, it's fun to be creative.

Not really. I plan on doing computer programming, but I plan on doing it for video games so I guess I could have input on the story.

But just for fun I write stories and draw so maybe I'll make my own manga...when I get even better at drawing at least. I won't accept my own work unless I think it's good quality.

Have you ever tried to program for game console system? I recommend that, it's funny :)

I went through a videogame programmer phase from age 12-13. If anything, now, I'd like to be a writer, but... I got some kinks in my writing I gotta work out. :/

Do you know how to use Maya or Blender?

@Amonchakai: I never tried for a console before, I probably should it would be cool to see it.

@theTalkingRice: Yes I do program now, most of what I do is in flash and I've been using AS3 which is great (once you figure out how to use it) for heavily physics based programming.

@Aburaishi: I've never really tried out Maya or Blender, but they look like pretty good software programs. I've never tried actual 3D programming before so it would be a new challenge to learn it.
