Clumsy Arashiyama is a girl with a love for mysteries and a knack for getting into trouble. She works for an old lady’s lackluster maid café in a small shopping district. The cafe is largely unsuccessful in attracting customers aside from Sanada, a regular and one of Arashiyama's classmates (who has a secret crush on her). One day Arashiyama’s clever friend Tatsuno is invited to the café, and, upon seeing the miserable state of things (and Sanada, whom she has a secret crush on), decides to work there. Don’t miss the crazy antics of Arashiyama and friends, mismatched love stories, and all the hilarity that is created as a result, in Sore Machi.

The story in this manga is quite nice. Slice of life, but it doesn't have that feel. Its quite funny, and you feel good. There's no negativity thus far. I'm also expecting them to not just pair couples together. I prefer it when it could go either way(or maybe with none of them), if it does something standard in this regard, that'd be okay too.

Most of the cast is likeable. And I'd love to read more. :)

a question: in the above image, who is the lady second from left? I'd tell she has still not appeared...or not. Am I wrong? And the girl before the math teacher?

That image was taken from Volume 7, so naturally it includes characters that neither you nor I am familiar with...yet. 8)

Seems like Redhawk has many chapters to go if there is already vol 7........which is the latest volume. Good thing there isn't much more right now.....
Also, SoreMachi has started its own anime this month!!

So far it's is fantastic. Some of the art is out of place, but it's humor is still within!

Just watched episode 2 and tere was a slight drop in production quality after the first episode, but it was still just as fun to watch. :p

I have mixed feelings about watching the anime before reading the manga. I hope the plot develops slowly because I like to enjoy the atmosphere there, and... knowing beforehand some main events takes away some fun (IMO).

Anime was enjoyable to watch.

Don't really have problem with thequality of animation being dropped.

I really want to hear Kon-senpai's voice.

Episode 3 is kinda funny. Finally! Kon Futaba introduced!^^ The mystery case's resolution was really awesome though. ;)

I think I'll try watching the anime again. I was hesitant to watch it at first since Shaft's doing it (didn't like Arakawa) so I thought it might be something like that. If a lot of people are saying it's good then I guess it deserves a second chance.
