Thread: Tokyo Manga Ban Signed into Law

I'm not sure how many of you are aware of this. The entire story is on the link below. The full ban will begin in July of 2011, however "voluntary compliance" will begin in April. I'm not sure how this will impact the series that are currently being done, but I sure there will be some changing or dropping of series due to the ban. There are already stories of publishers dropping planned reprinting of certain series and or asking authors to change certain aspects of their stories. This is certainly a sad time for manga readers...
