Due to the unfortunate and somehow mysterious disappearance of the old Introduction thread, I am going to start a new thread for the same purpose. While we have been unable to recover the posts in the lost thread, we hope that everyone has already met the rest of the reader community to an extent. Anyway, we hope that new members take the time to properly introduce themselves so that we get the chance to meet them, and if older members feel the need to reintroduce themselves to the new readers, they're free to do so. We always want to be closer to our fans, and I'm pretty sure that even the readers themselves want to know more about their fellow brothers-in-reading.

Since I didn't introduce myself back when I registered, I'm going to make the first post myself. Without any further ado, let the new introduction thread commence!

My username is Xylokopos (as if you haven't already seen it) and I'm a manga fan from Greece. I'm proud to represent my country on the scanlations front as a proofreader. I hope you can resist the urge to kill me whenever I make these fantastic blunders I'm so used to making, as I hope that I improve my skills and be of assistance to the group.

I'm a big fan of Hayate as well as most of Fukumoto's works, but Negima is the series that I care about the most. I procrastinate a lot and sometimes I even prioritize reading manga over anything else, even if that is of great IRL importance.

Hey, I'm Thomas. I've been lurking for ages, but I finally signed up because I saw that RHN were recruiting and decided to see if I could have a go as a proofreader. TWGOK would be my favourite anime/manga series of all time, followed by Fullmetal Alchemist, Eva and - currently - Mirai Nikki, in no particular order. I turn 17 a week from today, which means I'm about to start my final year of high school. I don't really know what else to say here, so I'll just say that I'm looking forward to getting to know - and hopefully working with - you guys here at RH.

Hello, I 'm Mibuwolf. I have just registered on this forum. I am from Brazil and I used to be a translator (eng-ptbr). The rh project that I just came by reading was kimi no iru machi. I read all the 167 chapters in 12 hours! It is a very good project. In fact the first one of its type that I ever liked so much. I normally appreciate projects more related with martial arts, like Sun ken rock, The breaker 1 and 2, naruto, Strongest disciple kenichi, zen martian arts academy and so on. Unfortunately, I don't know japanese (If I knew it I would definetly be very glad to help rh group with translation stuff (I know portuguese, english, spanish, and a little french too). I guess I will start to look for material that teaches jap, anyway... If any of you have good material, please let me know about it, specally scanned books. So that's it and and I wish you guys continue the good work.

I've been lurking on this site for a few months, and it was only just today that I decided to register on this site as a member (even if it did take me a while because I didn't put "hawk red" in as the random question ). I like to read manga, and it was a certain site that got me into TWGOK's series. Thought it was overrated a few months back (because I saw it all the time), decided to give it a read and I got instantly hooked!

I just wish they sold it in the UK, because collecting manga volumes is one of my hobbies (though I honestly can't remember when the last time I bought a manga volume). But I suppose they'll do it one day, even if it means I need to wait for an eternity.

So yeah, that's my introduction (which I hate writing mind you). Hope to enjoy my time here :)

I'm Mira and over the past few months I've really started to get into manga. Before I was an anime whore, but I've decided to take an extended break from that. Nothing much to really tell about myself except my growing love for manga brought me here. I'm a photoshop nerd and I also am in a competitive choir.

Besides that, I recently (like, last week) got accepted into a university in Tokyo, Japan so I'm really excited about that. My Japanese is nowhere near pristine but I hope to improve it much more while I'm there for the next four years.
