Never have I been so satisfied after reading a single manga chapter as I was after reading Bakuman 172. Just wow.

It could end next chapter and this manga would still be one of my favorites.

Bakuman could end in a few chapters and it would still be great (it'd be just like Niizuma ending Crow at it's peak), but I don't think that'll happen. Here's why:
1. A few months will have to pass in the story before the anime starts airing.
2. Marrying Miho was mostly Mashiro's goal - Ashirogi's goal is to make a manga that'll beat Eiji. If you say that Reversi already did that, then you should remember that Reversi will end soon - it's not beating Eiji if they can't keep doing that for as long as they're able to. So they'll probably have to write another series in order to reach that goal too.
Though, I must admit that Bakuman might not be as fun to read without the "when will they get married?" anticipation. Then again, there's always the possibility that being married will create problems for Miho in the VA industry, so there's always something else to look forward to.

Chapter 173 was kind of nice but a bit anti-climax, I hoped they would go deeper with the whole marriage thing.

And as for Reversi I'm guessing it will just follow Death Note in terms of second part (since the basic story is similar anyway), so Light wins and goes against two opponents who individually wasn't as good as L. It was fun during Death Note when Light was losing the against Mello and Near because he couldn't fight against two opponents who did opposite things and it will be interesting with Reversi.

Yeah, sure feels like it is ending. I don't think that the ending will be rushed in a couple of chapters though. Will have to see what the next chapter brings.

Heh, the current chapter talks about ending a manga against almost everyone else's expectations. Of course some of us might see it as a hint that the manga might end . There might be other manga topics that the authors would like to tackle, who knows. Will have to wait for the next few chapters.

Yep, issue 21 is the next one. I don't think it'll end then, probably the one after that. It does have a color page next week but I hope we have a good wrap-up chapter after the proposal.

Anyways, this manga has been entertaining, it's sad that it's ending (if it actually does, most likely) but I've enjoyed it the past few years.

How i would like it to end (but it won't happen this way tho)... For Mashiro to wait for Azuki in front of the exit of the Studio and then ask her to marry him :) while everyone is watching the History in Making :)


Ohh... And i can't wait after Bakuman ends to see their next work... Well its gonna take some time few months maybe half a year or more till its serialized.... That is if OHBA and OBATA make a new one, however if they do it will most likely be something awesome both Death Note and Bakuman are awesome so........ they are geniuses ahaha :)
